After considerable discussion, the John W. Clem Recovery House Board decided to cancel the event due to the significant uptick in COVID infections. It seems that an “abundance of caution” are the key words these days as we make the hard decisions that help ensure we all remain safe. It is with a keen sense of disappointment that we take this step as our response from sponsors and patrons had been robust.
Because the Clem House is engaged in the important community work of helping those struggling with substance use disorders, we ask that you still consider contributing during these difficult times. Our hope is that next year COVID will be less of a threat, and you can join us for our 4th annual Wake Up for Recovery breakfast at which we will share with you the success stories that characterize our work in the Athens area.
If you want more information about the John W. Clem Recovery House, please visit our website or call our office. Donations may be made to the Foundation of Appalachian Ohio, John W Clem Endowment and sent the John W Clem Recovery House at 8044 Dairy Lane , or made online at clemhouse.org.
Thank you so much for helping.
